Wild Cowgirls,
I had a great time at your place this weekend and wanted to thank you for hosting such a super event! I personally loved the fact that the course was in the trees and not in front of a crowd in the arena... especially for my first time competing. The other thing that made it so realistic was having to perform your run while other horses were around you on the course coming and going. It was tougher to keep my horse focused when his buddy rode by and then left him but that was a great thing to deal with and learn how to best handle. Your flexibility was also appreciated... for example I led my new horse through the course with just her halter and it was great for me to see how she would handle the river and woods since she came from open country... she was awesome and next time we'll be riding!
Thanks again for a great vacation (much more my thing than a beach somewhere) and have a great summer!

What a fantastic show! Your show is so organized and the Maxon-Box Stables facilities are so nice, clean and accommodating. I loved every minute of it, including the good food from the concession stand. The obstacles are challenging, but very achievable, and not dangerous. Just plain fun and challenging! I could see my horse growing less fearful and more confident with each class. Next year I hope to stay for the campfire and rib dinner!

Hi Wildcowgirls,
I would like to thank you for another fun year at the challenge. I had a great time and topped it off by winning 3rd place in the novice ranch horse class. So I wanted to thank you for my water bucket filled with many nice prizes. The horseman's knife is beautiful and I can always use the stall tie, I am hoping I never have to open a five gallon bucket of something but now have the tool to do it, and my horse will love the cubes I am sure. I always enjoy the trail challenge because some of it is REALLY a challenge, and I appreciate your creativity.
